Is there anything so fragrant, so fresh and so zesty as a freshly cut lemon? I adore that smell! If you are a big citrus fan too - which can include of course lemons, limes, or even oranges or grapefruits - then use these simple and frugal tips to use lemons or other citrus fruits to keep your home clean.
Use a cut lemon dipped into salt to scrub and clean your countertops or even chopping or cutting boards. Lemon is a natural disinfectant, and of course it also adds a delicious fragrance to any surface.
