Making lip balm isn't as hard as you might think! Just a few basic ingredients, and you're on your way...kids & teens love this craft project!
1 teaspoon Beeswax 2 teaspoons coconut oil About 10 drops of coconut extract
In a small heat-proof bowl, melt the beeswax, either in the microwave on low heat (stirring after each 20 seconds) or over a pot of simmering water. Stir until well melted and smooth. Take the glass bowl off the heat and add the coconut oil. Stir well to combine the mixture. Add the coconut extract and stir again.
Spoon mixture in tiny lip gloss pots or jars or any tiny container. That’s it! You’ve made your first batch of coconut lip balm! You can double, triple or quadruple this recipe to make a bunch of lip balms all at once.
